Swine Flu Immunisations

Swine flu immunisations have now started at this surgery. If you fall into any of the following risk groups please make an appointment for your vaccination:

Risk groups – patients with:

Heart disease
Asthma/COPD
Diabetes
Kidney, liver or neurological problems
Conditions that impair the immune system
Carers

The vaccine is also recommended for pregnant women and people who care for patients with immune problems. Please book your immunisation at the front desk.

CIMG0051 The practice is situated in the centre of Basingstoke at Essex House in Essex Road. There are 7 partners, 4 of whom are part-time and 3 part time assistants. We have 2 Specialist Nurses, 3 Practice Nurses, 1 Chronic Disease Management Nurse and 1 Women’s Health Nurse.

We are a training practice and as such have GP registrars, junior doctors and medical students working in the practice.

We offer an advanced access appointment system and try to see patients on the same day as the appointment is made. We also offer a number of pre-bookable appointments for those patients who wish to book ahead with non-urgent medical problems.

We are a General Medical Practice dedicated to providing a high quality health care service to improve the health of our practice population. We want to continue to develop in a way that will enhance the practice environment for our patients and our staff.
