Swine Flu Immunisations

Swine flu immunisations have now started at this surgery. If you fall into any of the following risk groups please make an appointment for your vaccination:

Risk groups – patients with:

Heart disease
Asthma/COPD
Diabetes
Kidney, liver or neurological problems
Conditions that impair the immune system
Carers

The vaccine is also recommended for pregnant women and people who care for patients with immune problems. Please book your immunisation at the front desk.

Out of hours cover is provided by the North Hampshire PCT via Hantsdoc. It is staffed by local GP’s.

If you need a doctor out of normal surgery hours, and have a problem that cannot wait until the surgery is next open, please contact Hantsdoc via 0844 477 3400 and you will be directed to the emergency service.

Hantsdoc is based at the Hospital next to the Accident & Emergency Department in the clinical area that is used as Fracture Clinic during the week. Depending on your problem you may be given telephone advice, be asked to attend the Base Centre or be seen on a home visit.
