Please note that for reasons of confidentiality we no longer give out test results at the desk. Please call for your results on 0844 477 3400 (option 5) between 2.30 and 6.00 p.m. weekdays.

Swine Flu Immunisations

Swine flu immunisations have now started at this surgery. If you fall into any of the following risk groups please make an appointment for your vaccination:

Risk groups – patients with:

Heart disease
Asthma/COPD
Diabetes
Kidney, liver or neurological problems
Conditions that impair the immune system
Carers

The vaccine is also recommended for pregnant women and people who care for patients with immune problems. Please book your immunisation at the front desk.

Many patients are on repeat prescriptions. We have an answer phone for repeat prescriptions. You select the repeat prescription option when you phone 0844 477 3400. You will be asked to give details including name, address and telephone number and the medication you require. Alternatively you can leave a written request at the front desk or send one in by post. Please allow 2 full working days between ordering your prescription and collecting it.

Lloyds Pharmacy in Essex House is also open on a Saturday morning. At weekends other Pharmacies in Basingstoke are also open.

Emergency Prescriptions

Should you find you need a repeat prescription urgently please explain this to a receptionist. They will follow our in-house procedure for dealing with such requests.

Lloyds Pharmacy operates independently from the Hackwood Partnership within the Essex House building. They are open from 09:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday are also open 09:00 – 12:00 on Saturday mornings.

If you wish to have your repeat prescriptions sent directly to them please notify the receptionists.
